Pray!
1 Thessalonians 5:17:
Never stop praying.
James 5:13a:
Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray.
Understand:
1. Jesus knew what he was about to go through
2. Jesus had the most intimate relationship with the Father that has ever been
Luke 22:41-44:
He walked away about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and prayed, “Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.” Then an angel from heaven appeared and strengthened him. He prayed more fervently, and he was in such agony of spirit that his sweat fell to the ground like great drops of blood.
When Jesus was going through something, he prays!
2 Lines:
1: “Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me.
2: Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”
Prayer puts us in line with what God wants!
