Any bad situation with God is better than any good situation without him!
Psalm 64:4-5:
I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy.
Ecclesiastes 3:20-4:3:
Both go to the same place – they came from dust and they return to dust. For who can prove that the human spirit goes up and the spirit of animals goes down into the earth?
So I saw that there is nothing better for people than to be happy in their work. That is why we are here! No one will bring us back from death to enjoy life after we die.
Again, I observed all the oppression that takes place under the sun. I saw the tears of the oppressed, with no one to comfort them. The oppressors have great power, and their victims are helpless.
So I concluded that the dead are better off than the living. But most fortunate of all are those who are not yet born. For they have not seen all the evil that is done under the sun.
Psalm 84:10:
A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked.
Any situation with God is better than any situation without God!
